Looks like the information about Lenovo’s Core Duo ThinkPad X60 Tablet PC that we found last February wasn’t just a typo. And the French e-tailer that had Lenovo ThinkPad X60 on his site was just a bit early. Lenovo has now released Intel Core Duo LV based X60 Tablet PC with the specs that are very close to those described in the original article. Interesting what took them so long? Probably wanted to clean out the inventories of their older ThinkPad X41 Tablet PC model.

Lenovo is expanding their non ThinkPad notebook line. In addition to their Pentium M based 3000 CSeries and Core Duo Nseries, now we have Lenovo 3000 VSeries ultraportable notebooks. And they are really cheap - high end Lenovo V100 ultraportable notebook will cost $1649 and feature:

Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m notebook officially announced
Last month we have told you about upcoming Lenovo Thinkpad Z61m, Z61t and R60 laptops with Intel Core Duo chips that were spotted on some University sites. Well, now it’s official - yesterday Lenovo has announced the availability of these Core Duo notebooks on their site. First we take a look at the R60 series notebook.
